GENERAL ADMISSIONS

We are an equal opportunity Christian educational institution which admits qualified applicants regardless of gender, ethnic group, age, handicap status, or veteran status.

A qualified applicant is described as a person who meets the following general admissions requirements along with the specific requirements for the program that he/she will pursue.

The River School of Ministry reserves the right to admissions. Each applicant must meet the general admissions requirements as follows:

  1. Profession of saving faith resting in Jesus Christ.

  2. Acceptance of River School of Ministry’s Statement of Faith as a personal Statement of Faith.

  3. At least 16 years of age.

  4. Complete an application for RSM.

  5. Submit a recent passport type photo for identification purposes with the completed application.

  6. Submit official high school transcripts or GED for those under the age of 25 years. Submit official college transcripts (if applicable).

  7. If requested, present evidence of good physical and mental health.

  8. If requested, submit a physical examination report including drug screening.

  9. Have adequate means of paying his/her tuition if applicable and fees as our school does not accept federally funded financial aid, grants or student loans at this time.

  10. Properly complete ALL required admissions paperwork.

  11. Attend the student orientation and be prepared to pay the Application Fee in full.

  12. Progression is dependent on maintaining a 2.0 GPA average or better in all courses.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSIONS

To apply for entrance into RSM, the following forms are required:

  1. Complete an Application for Admissions and submit it with a non-refundable $50.00 application fee. The application fee for inactive students who are returning to active status is $50.00.

  2. Students wishing to receive academic credit for previous schooling must have an officialtranscript sent to the Office of Admissions. The student is responsible for all fees relatingto the acquisition of transcripts. (See Financial Information) Transcript request forms are available uponrequest.

  3. After submitting their completed application, new students may be required to have a pre-admission interview with a school staff member.
